Продолжаем знакомиться с великолепными работами большого мастера, художника-иллюстратора, Дина Корнуэлла. Как и говорилось выше, художник представлял классическую европейскую школу живописи и являлся продолжателем реалистического и академического творчества.На его работах глаз просто приятно отдыхает. Ну и поучиться конечно есть чему. Живопись,композиция,цвет – образцово!
Дин Корнуэлл проиллюстрировал множество авторов. Среди них: Перл Бак, Ллойд Дуглас, Эдна Фербер, Эрнест Хемингуэй, Рафаэль Сабатини. Художник успел поработать и в монументальной живописи его фрески можно увидеть в таких местах, как Публичная библиотека в Лос-Анджелесе, Мемориале Линкольна в Вашингтоне, Рокфеллер-Центр. Дин Корнуэлл много успел сделать и на рекламном поприще, рисовал для General Motors, Seagram’s, CocaCola и Goodyear, создал росписи для двадцати общественных центров. Современники называли Дина Корнуэлла “Декан иллюстраторов”. Художник был президентом Общества иллюстраторов и в 1959 году внесён в Зал славы этого общества.
